Massage Therapy
Community Health Professionals has state-licensed massage therapists on staff to assist with hospice pain and symptom management. Our massage therapists also operate private practices that are available to the public. Massage therapy is a skillful touch applied to the body to encourage healing and relief of pain and anxiety. Massage therapy is always provided in a discreet, professional manner.
Help Me Grow/WIC

WIC is a nutrition education program that provides nutritious foods which promote good health for pregnant women, women who just had a baby, breastfeeding moms, infants and children up to age five. In addition to education and support, WIC provides immunization screening and referral, health care referrals, and supplemental foods.
Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a baby less than six-months-old, an infants and children up to five-years-old are eligible to apply for WIC. To qualify, applicants must live in

Help Me Grow is an initiative of Ohio Family and Children First that offers services for families, prenatal to age three, including newborn home visits, ongoing home visits and help for families that have children with development delays.
All mothers in Van Wert County can get a one-time newborn home visit from a Help Me Grow registered nurse. The nurse will provide information concerning a variety of issues, a health assessment of the mother and baby, referrals to needed services.
The Angel Foundation
The Angel Foundation facilitates wishes for adults in Ohio at the end-of-life.
The Angel Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization that was established by Community Health Professionals in 1995.
